Honda of New Rochelle scammed my wife with a Vin etch policy that added 1,000 dollars to the final cost of her new vehicle. A vin etch in reality costs no more than 40 dollars and in some cases is done free by your local police department. It's one in many scams used by dealerships to fleece the customer. The finance manager went as far as to say that if the vin etch policy were refused, it would raise the finance rate of the vehicle. We realized too late what had taken place, but hopefully you won't let this happen to you.
